Position Overview: Senior Motorcycle Designer

As Senior Motorcycle Designer you are tasked with imagining and sculpting future product designs. Trained in industrial and vehicle design, they combine human factors with practical considerations to enhance the user experience.


Responsibilities:

 

  • Works with the design team to develop innovative, original concept art and designs for future motorcycles
  • Follows through with team members to ensure that designs are aligned with Damon Design Vision and technical standards
  • Develops motorcycle from concept to production, contributes to product planning, and designs secondary elements such as components and accessories


Position Requirements


  • Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Design, Masters in Vehicle Design
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working as a motorcycle designer
  • Production motorcycle experience required
  • Public concept motorcycle experience highly valued
  • Outstanding rapid visualization skills, including hand drawing and digital rendering 
  • Confident, high impact presentation skills 
  • Expert clay modelling skills
  • Familiarity with ALIAS or Catia surface modelling highly valued
  • Deep understanding of motorcycle manufacturing technology and processes
  • Experience riding/owning motorcycles
  • A background in fine arts highly valued
